What SSL does

SSL enables HTTPS. It protects logins and improves trust (browsers warn on non-HTTPS pages).

Steps

  1. In Hostinger, locate the SSL/HTTPS section for your domain.
  2. Enable the SSL certificate (often automated).
  3. Force HTTPS if the option exists (so http redirects to https).
  4. Verify: visit your site and confirm the padlock shows and pages load over https.
